The venue for the all afternoon party was the Lake Minnetonka resort home of MS Wadsworth and KK Wadette. Nearly full attendance for what was a delightful time of reminiscing. One comment heard quite often: Wow, how did those 50 years go by so quickly? And another repeated comment: How unusual for a group of college friends to stay closely connected for 50 years! We are indeed a special and unusual group!

Twelve Wads together in one place at one time hasn't happened for... no one knows how long.

To top it off, nine Wadettes joined the celebration and have greatly expanded the camaraderie of our special and unusual group!

There were a few 1973 events to acknowledge: Of course, the Bumwad graduating class of 1973; and the 50th wedding anniversary of the high school sweethearts above; and the 50th birthday of Debby Magsnificent Wadette!

A cornerstone of the Bumwad group from the very beginning has always been playing some kind of game. Docile lawn games are our current speed. Pictured here are two events: bean bag toss up near the house and Bocce Ball on the lower lawn. The games are actually harder than they look, making for fun competition!
