We are the Bumwad brothers.
We are a big family. We are a group of now middle aged men that never really grew up. We went to the School of Architecture at the University of Minnesota many years ago. No two of us practice(d) architecture in quite the same way. We are individuals! However, one thing in common is our continuing friendship through the years. Our family also includes Bumwadette women and many honorary Bumwads from time to time.

Does the word "Bumwad" mean anything?
There are four types of Bumwad:

C > For use as the name of our intramural sports teams
D > For a very exclusive group of accomplished men
2 What do the Bumwads do?
Full group participation sports is the cornerstone of our group. Even though we are strong competitors, the fortunate thing is that none of us remembers the score of any event more than five minutes afterward...we all feel like winners.
3 Sounds like fun. How do I become one? If you have to ask, you probably can't. However, there have been many honorary members for special events/teams...so there is still a possibility. Each is reviewed on a case by case basis.

Corbu, the original Bumwad, even predates Ralph, our Grand Poobah! The "root" of Bumwad goes back to our mentor Corbu. He exemplifies the Rapson saying, "If it looks good... it is good." At first glance, one might mistake him for Tom Bumwad working in thesis studio. Corbu has a nasty broomball scar... it shows that he and we are one together!
Leonardo da Vinci putting the final touches on a preliminary draft of our logo. However, he doesn't look happy with it. He's thinking it needs something else... perhaps a broom-ball stick, Frisbee, football and/or a golf club... time will tell.
