In September, four Bumwad brothers ventured to Seagull Lake at the end of the Gunflint Trail for this year's male bonding.

| Wilderness Canoe Base on Seagull Lake, run by Plymouth Christian Youth Center, in North Minneapolis... where Doug Bumwad was introduced to the BWCAW (BWCA at that time) in 1966, as a novice camper. It is from here that he developed a lasting love for the power of the wildness experience! |
